You can also try a carb, spares place for an new accelerator cable as the end is crimped on I think. Mine is also missing so I just made a loop on the cable and used a cable clamp.

Hi Stephen
I have looked at the accelerator cable before and it will not be so easy to adapt an aftermarket one. Try something temporary and order a new cable so it is reliable.

"Hi. Had the very same problem on my (sold) lada. It will get boiling hot in the summer if u dont have a cowling for the fan. I made my own from some scrap plate and flatbar in a few minutes. I realy think the cowling is a must have. My temp was ok when driving around town but put it in low range and it over heats like that. Fitting a electronic fan will also do the trick. I Have a fan for u if u want it. Ruan"
Like the man says: fabricate one. You could try Ventz, Mike or Centurion Lada Or import one from Lada Power

Front wheel 5 stud discs are available at branches of Autozone countrywide. The Discs are listed as "Lada Samara" Front Discs - Part Nr. DR 6303 . These discs are an exact match, if compared to original size 5 stud Lada Niva discs. Price : R475.00 (Excl VAT) each. Danie P.S. Please take note that Autozone also carries stock of "Lada Niva / 1980 on " 4 stud discs -( part no. DR 6293) which sells at R199.11. Anyone who orders discs from Autozone, should make sure to order the correct discs. Hi Damian Here is the original posting of the discs
