What make of tyre is it? Do you maybe see a model number on the tyre?

A 195r15 is a 70 profile. It is very close to the stock tyre. So a std rim and tyre will work. I am also running 195/70R15 tyres.

Hi Suzette
Most likely 70 profile as Charles said. Check close to the rim on the tyre side-wall the actual size should be marked 195/xxR x 15. The marking is quite small and thin lettering

Here you will find the tyre markings explained. The Calculator link should work As far as I know the Kia Sportage rim is a 15" rim but narrower than the Mag Sidekick rim Spikes Attachments:

Hi Guys and thanks for the advice. Allen....I'm running on 4 Khumo 195R15 100S Khumo Road Venture tyres. The steering is now brilliant compared to what it was like when I was using the Yokahama Geolanders. I can now actually turn the steering wheel without giving myself a hernia ! Spikes.....should I be concerned that the 100S is outside of your prefered 65-75 range. Roonie.....seems to be near enough as makes no difference. Thanks again and regards to all my LOCSA friends. Keith and CERATOTH

Hi Keith
Easiest way is to compare it with your Spare wheel as you did. I do not think the 100S refers to the aspect ratio.
Please post some pictures for the other Sidekick rim owners

Hi Keith
The Khumo`s you have are the exact same as the ones I was using. I don`t know what the 100s stands for, but I think it has something to do with the height as there are no other marks on those tyres. The Height is virtually the same as the 16 ins original.

Hi Spikes
I have already mentioned to Keith that I think the 100S refers to the height as there are no other sizes on the tyres. It certainly does not refer to the aspect ratio, so I hope someone knows what it stands for. They are very good tyres.

If there is no profile written on the tyre then it is standard profile, that is then a 70.

The 100S is the load/speed rating as far as I can make out. Nothing to do with the Aspect ratio Agree it must be 70 as Charles says Spikes

That's correct Dimitris - the local Sidekick version of the Niva came standard with 195/80R15 Kumhos.

Dimitris I prefer my tyres a bit harder. Also remember that they are remoulds.

Dimitris I prefer my tyres a bit harder. Also remember that they are remoulds. Charles Remould tyres need less pressure....26-28 psi
