Hi Everyone Just a suggestion : I think it might be interesting to other Lada owners if all forum members introduce ourselves, tell a little story about ourselves / our Ladas, and if possible - send a photograph of our little beasts for viewing as well.
So just hang on - I've just got to find my memory stick with photographs, and will send my introduction soon.......

Hi Danie I'm glad to see you here. You were the most active contributor. Do you have any idea if Edu de Jager is still involved with LOCSA? I do not have his current email address.

Hi Kobus
Kobus, Edu is not involved in Locsa any longer, although he is still involved in LadaRsa.
All I know, he officially resigned from Locsa about two years ago.
I guess his address is still available at the LadaRsa website , but I am not sure - as said before, I do not visit the LadaRsa website any more.

Hi everyone. I am Kobus Mulder, the webmaster of LOCSA and also the moderator of this forum. My brother-in-law, Willie Vos, got me involved in doing ths. I do not own a Lada myself. I drive a Opel Astra with 445 000km on the clock. Now you know why I rely on information from other people, like Danie, to keep this alive.

Hi all, I bought my first Lada new in 1996 and to my surprise it was displayed on the LOCSA website. It is now owned by Ari. This little vehicle went all the way from Meyerton to Botswana, Namibia (Etosha) and Zimbabwe. And contrary to the held beliefs we travelled in a convoy of just ourselves! The vehicle was so much fun and used for local travel to and from work as well. It was good to see her still going strong. I recently bought a rebuild from Lada Centurion and am busy customizing to suit my own needs which really is just an excuse to play with my toy. I now live in Pennington KZN and am happily retired.
